About

Amin Bozorgzadeh (b. 1987, Iran) is an Iranian fine art photographer and poet based in Sweden. He began his photographic practice in 2006 through an independent and experimental approach before undertaking formal studies at Karnameh Institute of Arts and Culture, where he trained under acclaimed photographers between 2011 and 2013.

Alongside his artistic practice, He has pursued a sustained interest in the philosophy of art and literature, with particular attention to the writings of Martin Heidegger and Jacques Derrida. His engagement with philosophy, together with studies in Persian literature and modern art, has profoundly shaped his visual language, where photography becomes a space for reflection on memory, identity, absence, and the poetic relationship between people, objects, and place.

His work has received international recognition, including Official Selection at the International Photography Awards (IPA) 2024 and multiple Honorable Mention awards from the IPA in 2014, 2015, and 2017. In 2026, his work was selected for exhibition at PhotoPlace Gallery in Vermont, USA. Alongside photography, He is an award-winning poet, and his literary practice continues to inform the conceptual and symbolic dimensions of his photographic work.
